SD Studios Radović, Kishimoto and Almazán opened with Darko's introduction and talk about environmentally and culturally responsible design, followed by an inspirational guest lecture by Professor Davisi Boontharm (Meiji University, I-AUD; photo above) entitled Cradle to Cradle Thinking and Architectural Requalification. Keio Architecture emphasis on engaging young architects and academics along with the established Keio staff is reflected in organisation of Studio A, which will be coordinated by Darko and delivered by Sano Satoshi (Eureka and co+labo), Chiba Motoo (Tsubame Architects) and Komatsu Katsuhito (Fukei) - on photos below, during their introductory Studio A lectures.
Studio A will host guest lectures by other inspirational Japanese architects. This blog will bring updates on such events.

The subject will be delivered in an innovative format, coordinating teaching and instructions at Yagami Campus and the site, while small group teaching and design instructions will be conducted at both Yagami Design Room and in offices and laboratories of the studio teachers.
